This nationally recognised unit provides you with the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Whether you are looking to start a career in logistics or upskill for the construction and mining sectors, our courses are designed to get you qualified and moving.
Course Duration and Cost
Duration: 2 Days
Cost: $600
Outcome: Upon successful completion, you will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment and the paperwork required to apply for your High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ)
What You Will Learn
Conducting pre-start, operational, and shutdown checks
Identifying and controlling workplace hazards
Safe load handling, including capacity and stability calculations
Manoeuvring in tight spaces and through chicanes
Safe shutdown and securing of the equipment
Enrolment Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age
Provide 100 points of Identification (e.g., Passport, Driver’s Licence, Medicare Card)
Have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Possess a basic level of English literacy and numeracy
Wear closed in shoes

This nationally recognised unit provides you with the skills and knowledge required to operate a telescoping, hinged, or articulated boom-type elevating work platform (with a boom length of 11 metres or more) safely. Whether you are working in construction, mining, or electrical maintenance, our 2-day intensive course is designed to get you qualified and moving.

This nationally recognised unit provides the skills and knowledge required to operate a reach stacker with a capacity of 3 tonnes or more. The course covers the use of specialised attachments (spreaders) for lifting and moving containers. Our 3-to-4-day intensive program is designed to take you from the classroom to the cab, ensuring you are site-ready for the transport and shipping sectors..

Outcome: Upon successful completion, you will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment and the paperwork required to apply for your High Risk Work Licence (Class RS) with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ).
What You Will Learn
Pre-Start & Safety Checks: Inspecting the boom, spreader, twist-locks, and hydraulic systems.
Load Handling & Stacking: Learning to lock, lift, and stack containers at height with precision.
Stability & Physics: Understanding longitudinal and lateral stability while carrying heavy, eccentric loads.
Manoeuvring in Tight Spaces: Safe travel protocols, including visibility management and ground surface assessment.
