Course Details
This nationally recognised unit specifies the outcomes required to perform slinging techniques, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear and the directing of a crane operator in the movement of a load (both in and out of the operator’s view). As the mandatory prerequisite for all Rigging tickets, this 5-day intensive course is the first step toward a career in advanced crane operations and construction.

What You Will Learn

This nationally recognised unit provides the skills and knowledge required to perform basic rigging tasks. This includes the movement of plant and equipment, steel erection, hoist installation, and the placement of pre-cast concrete members. Our 5-day intensive course is designed for those who have mastered Dogging and are ready to take on greater responsibility for load stability and structural assembly.
