Q: Does the $600 include my final assessment?
A: Yes! Our pricing is completely transparent. Your fee covers your entire pathway with us—including all your formal classroom training, hands-on practical training, and your final high-risk assessment.
Q: What happens if I don't pass the initial assessment?
A: We focus heavily on building real competence and confidence, not just passing a test. If you don't quite get across the line on your first attempt, don't sweat it. Your initial re-assessment with us is 100% free. Our local instructors will work closely with you to provide targeted, hands-on retraining before a re-assessment is scheduled.
Q: How do I get my actual physical plastic card?
A: Once you successfully pass your practical assessment here in Townsville, we issue your Candidate Assessment Summary (CAS). To get your physical photo card, you will submit this paperwork directly to WorkSafe QLD online within 60 days and pay their standard state licensing fee.

FAQs
What happens after you pass your assessment:
-
The day you pass your assessment, you are sent a Candidate Assessment Summary (CAS). Treat this like gold—it serves as your immediate, legal temporary permit to operate a forklift at work and is valid for 60 days.
-
Yes, and it’s a strict one. You have a maximum of 60 days from the day the Candidate Summary Statement (CAS) was created to submit your application to worksafe Queensland for your high risk forklift licence. If you let that 60-day window close, your assessment results become invalid by law, meaning you'd have to pay for and sit the entire course and test all over again.
-
Your permanent photo licence remains valid for 5 years. As it is a nationally accredited high-risk work licence, you are legally covered to operate forklifts anywhere in Queensland and right across Australia.
-
You’ll need to renew your photo card every 5 years. WorkSafe QLD generally reaches out a month or two before your expiry date to remind you.
If you miss the date: You get a 12-month grace window to log on and renew it without stepping back into a classroom (just note you cannot legally drive a forklift while it’s expired).
If you wait longer than 12 months: The licence cancels out permanently. To get back on a machine, you’ll be legally required to re-enroll in the TLILIC0003 course and redo all your exams.
